- & % errors on address form

Can't find any posts on this one .........We have errors that occur saying NOT ALLOWED character set when say a customer orders and they input either a % & - / .....does anyone know how to remove this annoying message please ?

Please could you advise on how to get this error message. I have tried to recreate your steps, by ordering an item from a default store and for my address, simply putting in "% & - /"

But i don't get this error message.

Thanks for your reply. It seems to occur when a customer passes through the store and into the secure payment section(HSBC). I enclose 2 screenshots showing what happens with some data is entered and the resulting reply.

I'm afraid with the HSBC integration, you will not be able to change this message or remove it. It is a part of the HSBC intergration, and also the names and address cannot have any special characters, only plain text.
