Option to only allow Order Processing?

We do the catalog maintenance and design work for the Actinic shop of one of our clients.

The question I have is... if we use business settings to only allow Order Processing on their PC, would we still need them to load a snapshot of any changes we make to the catalog before being able to process any orders?

Hi there.

If you just make template changes then you do not need to.

However, if you change products, ie adjust their prices or add new ones, a snapshot would be a good idea so that they could use the offline ordering facility.

Also, if you change any shipping rates I would again send them the snapshot.
