Trouble with IsSearchable

I have a problem. I have Actinic Business 6.1.4 and I am trying to do my own Searchable Properties. However I dont seem to have the IsSearchable option within the property of an Item or even within a Section Property. Any1 know why this is and how I would go about getting it back???

All I have in the Advanced Property of an Item is:

Property
Value
Custom Property Name
Use as Custom
File Name
Use File Content

... I have no IsSearchable.

Any ideas???

Hi there Nick

More than likely, the Searchable is hidden. Try resizing the bar for ""Use as CUSTOMVAR" on the left. If you hover your mouse cursor on the bar just before "Use as CUSTOMVAR", the mouse cursor should change so you can move it to the right, and your "Searchable" tab should now appear

Thats exactly what the problem was

I am having trouble uploading the catalog to our server at the minute but I dont think that the search facility is working correctly. I will try it when I do get it back up but I have the following setup:

- Under Advanced\Custom Properties I have defined the properties as Section and Model both of type text.

- Each Items Property has a value for Section and Model and IsSearchable is checked

- Under View/Search Settings/Searchable Properties I have Section and Model under the property and have them both as Isoptional and combining the results as AND.

Now, after uploading the site and going to advanced search within the site it all looks correct but when I try to search it says that no items found, when I know that the keyword is in the product title.

The options checked in Search Options under View/Search Settings are as follows:

- Add section information to Product Text when Indexing
- Index Extended Product Info
