Made to measure product - every size is different price

I am probably going to transfer my site to actinic but have a question.
All my products are Made to measure. So the Price varies

e.g.
A window blind can be anything from 400mm to 2400mm wide, and 500mm to 2500mm drop. Depending on the size ordered the price varies (The bigger it is the more it costs)

Is there a way of actinic looking up prices on a spreadsheet or database to return the price for the sizes entered

Hi Ken,

I'm afraid to make this work, you will need to use components and attributes. But this means you have to list all prices of every individual scenario.

Judging from what you have written, it sounds like you want dynamic pricing, which Actinic cannot do presently, because it does not have an online database.

Price calculation isn't standard but is possible.

It can be added but requires quite a lot of patching. I have done it for several Actinic sites - see http://www.fastframes.co.uk/acatalog...d_Cushion.html for an example.

There's also a couple of blind manufactures already using the same technique. I've a simple demo on http://www.drillpine.biz/blinds/acat..._Products.html

This involves a lot of work so you'd have to contact me if interested.

I thought it would be time consuming. Thanks for the replies. I will study the 2 links you supplied Norman before deciding what to do about it
