    HELP fatal error

    Hi

I need to take a snapshot of the site to move it to another machine.

I've been getting an error on startup and when I try to make a backup.

    It states

Panel 0 cannot be displayed. It is either missing from the skin definition file, or the definition is invalid.

This means that the navigator cannot be displayed.

    The error summary says
    FATAL ERROR
(File Snapshotwizard cpp. Line 773) _ Archive Error5
    The compression operation Failed.
    Library error writing to file

I've checked that the Navigator skin files against an actinic demo on another machine
    They're all there

    Any Ideas?

Try searching for "fatal" in the knowledge base - knowledge.actinic.com.

It's the same error message that you get for the snapshot, although there's no mention of the other error.

It suggests that it's caused by the database being locked - with a deletion of another process it may be cured or alternatively try compacting the database.

      oops

      Ok found the problem

I ran out of space on the C drive.
This meant that although actinic ran fine it couldn't access the zipped skins for the navigator.

This meant that you couldn't view the navigator but it also stopped you from saving a snapshot.

I've clean up the drive and it ran fine.
