free shipping on a particular product- can?

I wanted a free shipping for my product, is it possible?

I "added a new ROW" on business Setting, weight: 0 and Cost: 0 but it still doesn't work. bcos by default i have stated weight: 2.5. So what can i actually do if i only want that particular product to have free shipping rate?

[edited]However, free shipping charges r applied for certain shipping method. say if u chooses air parcel, we would give u free shipping charge but if u choose fedex express, the shipping charge would charge as normal. is it possible to be done.

Hi,

You need to put '0' in the weight field of the product then it won't take the default weight.

However, free shipping charges r applied for certain shipping method. say if u chooses air parcel, we would give u free shipping charge but if u choose fedex express, the shipping charge would charge as normal. is it possible to be done.

Set up a class for each option and the free weight 0 and cost 0 to the two that get free shipping.
