    7.02 Crash

    When trying to add a new offline order, actinic will close out to desktop without fail.

    error says catalog.exe caused errors and will be closed.

    Hi Craig,

    A bit more information would be useful to find out what causing your problem. What operating system are you running? Is it just the offline ordering that is causing this error? If you go to "View | Business Settings | Shipping" do you get any error?

    Please could you advise?

      I am very sorry, I know better then that. I should have given you the details.

      Windows 2000 SP4

      It only crashes when you click new order in the orders screen.
      So yes an offline order.

        Hi there

        Please try the following:
        1. Close down actinic.
        2. Download the following file
        3. Extract it and install first mdac_type.exe, then install jetsp04.exe.

        Once you have done this, simply open the software and try doing an offline ordering again.

          Having same problem

          but using windows XP SP2 does the same fix apply

            Yes, its simply reinstalling the mdac and jet drivers for windows. Both 2000 and XP use the same drivers.

              Guess what

              it did not cure the problem, it also does the same when adding new items to and existing web order. It crashes at the last stage. when you restart actinic and go to the order the parts added are there

                    Yes I'm having this problem too - have tried the fix suggested but it doesn't resolve the catalog crashing. Any help would be appreciated.

                      Hi there

                      Check in "View | Discount and Surcharge Settings | Order Level", if you have deleted all the order level discount, then actinic will crash out on offline order. This is a bug in 7.0.2.

                      Please create an order level discount.
