I have broken my navigation

Hello,

I have broken my navigation, basically my NAVBCATALOG netquotevar links to nothing, and i get a directory view when i click on it,

i have no idea how i managed this, but i would rather not have to start again.

Does anybody have an idea how i manged this and how i can fix it,

Take a look in Design | Options | Misc tab and see if your Home Page Link is set ot none or a bad URL or old Brochure page somehow. But would look in there first of all

Also make sure in "Design | Options | Navigation", you do have text for the navigation text or images. Otherwise you will get this error.

I can't see anything there that seems to cause the error.

The button thats broke is my "products" button, and it should link to P_index.html - i can hard code this in, but im guess thats not the best thing to do.

in design|options|misc my homepage is set to borchure (the URL box is blank)

The naviagtion tab doesn't appear to have any links to pages at all, just images. All boxes appear to be filled in.

is there any info im am omitting that will help in a soltion?

Are the links held in an xml file or somthing?

thanks for the reply,

I managed to fix it (10 mins ago)
basically, i must have accidently hit the small very, hard to find, almost invisible to me (excuses) check box titled
"OMIT NAVIGATION LINK BACK TO TOP OF CATALOG"

how silly of me, only took 2 days to find it!

what is very confusing, is the the link works if you first go to the "help" page, then click products, even thought those pages seem to use the name template? I guess becuse the help page is in the /acatalog/ directory

For a short term fix, hard code the link. I don't know why it is not appearing, if you want to get this resolved, i would suggest in registering a query at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm. They might need to see your snapshot
