Shipping - flat £1 charge for extra items

I do not know if this is possible, I want the charge a flat shipping fee of £1.95 (inc VAT) for an item, and £1 extra (per item) for buying more of the same items

i.e.
Qty..Shipping
1.....£1.95
2.....£2.95
5.....£6.95
etc

Can this be done?

Base your shipping model on quantity...

Enter 1 at $1.95 (sorry, not pound symbol on this keyboard)
Then set you Excess rule to $1.00 per 1 extra.
