I have a site about to go live where i sell new and used items. Any order of new items over £200 is delivered free, anything under there is a £25 delivery charge. The problem i have is that second hand items postage is charged differently. If you order 10 second hand items, delivery is £12. Any ideas on how i can charge this as the delivery is a global property in the software.

You are right about this. Though it is possible to specify free shipping over a certain cart value using "Free Over", this will be applied for all goods including the second hand items.the delivery is a global property in the software
You can however set up a shipping values for other cart values but again, this would apply to the whole site.
Hence I am afraid it is not possible to set up different shipping charges for different categories.
