Displaying only 10 items at a time

Within one section we may have 20 products/items. How ever i only want to display 10 at a time - and then at the bottom of the first 10 items have a link to display the next 10 items.

Ive check the 'advanced pdf guide' - but that only talks about adding a link to go from one section to the next.

Is this possible then? - We dont want the users/customers having to scroll down the page for great lengths.

We want to try and stay away from splitting the products into 2 sections and then using the 'advanced guide' example of linking to the next section.

As far as we're aware the only way to do this is as shown in the AUG. We've used it here:

www.crombie.co.uk (Ties section for example)

and it works well for us.
