    Problem with orders on two machines

    I have V6 set up on PC1. The site is working without problems - inlcuding downloading orders.

    I have installed V6, from the same CD as PC1, on PC2 which is going to be used to download orders.

    I have copied the whole of the Site1 folder from PC1 to CDROM and replaced Site1 folder on PC2 with that copy.

    I have copied the information from the security dialog to PC2.

    The problem is that the download order button and menu item are greyed out. so that I can't download orders.

    What am I missing?

    Should I have used snapshot?

    Urgent help needed

    do an upload on pc2, then you can do a download

      We *have* done a refresh to the site - still no download button.

      We'll have to try again I guess.

        That is very odd.

        Check the basics have you got order processing set (view/business settings/options) for the PC you are trying to download the orders on?

        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actinic\Catalog6\Sites\Mole End\UploadFlags

        Set it to 1 and see if that makes a difference.

          Thanks Jan - Download is def. set in business options.

          I'll have a look at the registry setting when I have time to get over to PC2.
