Set Custom Property value to file content

Hi All,

I have set up a custom property which is included in every template. I have set a default file as the value of this custom property in Design > Options > Site Defaults ... this all workd fine .

I want to be able to over-write this custom property, when required, at Section level and include the contents of a different file. But I can't seem to be able to do it!!!

I have the option of using an ASP server-side include but this is not the approach I want to take as it seems hard to preview the site easily.

Any Ideas Please?

Your choice of assigning the default filename in the value, assigning Use as Customvar, FileName and Use File Content is the correct method, which when you then do this again at the section level but using a different file name should work 100% and as you require it.

Have you checked that your filename is correct (and in the site1 folder) i.e. use just the filename and no path for it and that Use as Customvar, Filename and Use File Content are all enabled?
