problem with new front page and basket/checkout

Hi,

I've just updated our front page - it's purely a cosmetic and navigation change to the front page only, everything on the page links to the same old Actinic site. However, I can add things to the basket, but when I click the 'view basket' button on my new front page, it comes up as shopping cart empty, even though the little bit of JS that shows cart value etc says that there's something in it. The same happens when I try and checkout from the new front page. I have literally copied and pasted the links in from the old front page.

Original, current site:

http://www.themapcentre.com/main_low.htm < for 1024x768 and below

I can't see the item values on the front page at all. But for your checkout link does not work, the link reports,

but your online store checkout store link is:
