Premature end of script headers: /public_html/cgi-bin/ss000011.pl

I have a problem with my actinic site, i am trying to get my basket and checkout, login pages to work, but there seems to be a problem with the cgi scripts. When i go into the server error log it says:
'Premature end of script headers: /home/tmanor/public_html/cgi-bin/ss000011.pl'

Any ideas what this may be? I have made sure all permissions are correct.

Are the permissions 0777 ??

If so, try changing them to something less open-access like 0755 as some servers will not allow files to operate under a 0777 which could be causing this enforced error believe it or not...

If not the case, then check the permissions further up the chain, i.e. public folder and so on..
