Referrer Script

I have been told that it is not possible to use a referrer script to link directly to a product - it can only be used to link to a section.

This for me is an absolute PAIN! We use a number of referrers and we really need to see who is sending us business. The companies we use (Pangora, Zencuda etc) all want the links to be directly to the products - but this means we have no idea at all whether these "click throughs" are working for us or if we're wasting our money listing with them.

Does anyone out there know of a work around - or is it possible to write something that would give us this information (be willing to pay for this!)

Didn't Work!

Thanks DB (just got round to looking at this). Unfortunately that doesn't help - that was referring to problems where people were linking to a product with a customer logged in - we don't have customer loggin at all.

So - anyone else out there either know of a way to make this work or would be willing - if it's possible to write something?
