Left hand nav links and search robots

    Hi

    re: http://www.kjbeckett.com

I have been working on my site for a month or so now - and I'm obviously keen to develop a good search engine ranking (Google is going well. Yahoo is not so well).

I have been using a Robot POV simulator to view my pages and have noticed that the left hand nav isn't being picked up by the robots. Therefore the links to lower levels are not being hit.

I have got round this by including html links in my content - however it would be nice for the robots to see the left hand nav links.

My left hand nav links are directly out of the Actinic Advanced Guide (top 2 levels Javascript).

I have noticed other Actinic sites have managed to get robots to see the left hand nav links and would love to do this.

If any one has any ideas I would appreciate it.

    Hi Paul

Some people do say that some search engines cannot spider the javascript links at all. Therefore it would be easier for you to submit your sitemap instead. An example of the actinic sitemap would be:

    http://www.domain.com/acatalog/sitemap.html

As the sitemap is simply a page full of links.
