Another merging file problem

Hi

I'm getting the "An error occurred while merging files on the remote site. The web site index has been corrupted." message.

I've search the forum and found the thread saying delete all *.fil files in Site 1, and in acatalog folder. Then goto Web|Refresh. Tried it but get the same error.

Even removed all files on the server and started again (not a major job as they're both sat on the LAN).

What do I try next??

After a few hours of trying different settings, I removed all the directories and files from the server and started again.

No idea why, but it uploaded without any problems this time. Must have been a gremlin at work
