actinic uploads different pages to the preview?

Dear All

I am at a complete loss as to what is going on.

If I preview a page I get a perfect page - but when I update the site (yep i've tried web refresh - and deleted all files on the server) a page that is about a week old appears!!

If i upload again that page may correct itself to display the current content, but others that were ok get screwed up.

What is this about?

unfortunately i don't think its my browser - my client was seeing the same problem on his pc (and the last copy of the page in my cache must have been a good version surely as we were proofing the site all day and about to set it live)

today i'm going to rename every file in the site to prevent it reverting to a previous version of itself. This will stop the pages reverting to previous versions of themselves (but it may not prevent future incarnations of these pages reverting to how they are today!)

Hs anybody else had the same problem?

(I hope I'm not coming across as a loon.....)
