Thumbnails not showing in browser??

I've created a section of thumbnails of products for customers, however when I view them with my ISP - Wanadoo I am unable to see the images. They look fine in the offline preview but not when the site is updated.

Any suggestions?

For a start....

Right click over where the images should be and bring up the properties. You should have something like http://www.domainname.com/acatalog/image.gif. Then if possible use a FTP program to enter into your webspace to see if they are there.

Are you placing the images you are including in the site directory within the actinic program ? Can you post a URL ?

It doesn't do it on all web browsers - only some for some strange reason?

I use wanadoo - not sure if this is causing it, or whether I have some settings wrong

Im using firefox, and can also see them in IE, im connected via blueyonder.

What are there instead of the images ? a cross ?

There are no thumbnails at all - not even a box with a cross in it???

Using Wanadoo (freeserve) as ISP on Broadband - can't understand why it doesn't show though??

Any thoughts - could it be my internet settings?

using wanadoo! Using IE 6.0. Service pack 2 shows funny results sometimes on javascripted control layouts

ps the images to the right hand side eg Our Returns Policy are showing a cross

Make sure the images are not in CMYK mode versus RGB

Thumbnails still don't show in my browser - not sure if it is an actinic issue or have I got my internet settings wrong?

Also using Norton anti-virus.

I'm tearing my hair out as I can't figure out why????

I think I see some of your problem. On your home page there are missing images under OUR RETURNS POLICY and OUR DELIVERY POLICY. The reason for this is that you are referring to files on your own PC and not those on any server. E.g. file:///C:/Program%20Files/Actinic%20v7.1/Sites/BTG%20Natural%20Health/j0213534.gif

Thanks Norman - this is because I've not added them under the additional files section.

However, if you take a look at www.aloevera-and-you.com (where I have the same problem!) and you click products. I do not see any of the images that are in the thumbnail sections on any website I have.

When I click on the product for more in-depth info and to buy the images appear. I'm stumped???

I think you've actually got the wrong URL in there. Probably from editing the template with an HTML editor and not plain old Notepad.

As to the Aloe Vera site I see 3 section images OK. If you don't it may simply be because your browser is caching the older page. Try a browser Refresh or Shift / Refresh or Control / Refresh. Or look at your site with another browser (Firefox) and see what happens.
