hi this i proberly a easy fix

on adding to cart some of the product you have to confirm and some you dont

can any one point me in the right direction to fix this.

That's because you've selected a different "Shopping Mode" for different Sections.

There are 3 different ways available. Quantity on Confirmation Page, Quantity on Product Page and Quantity in Shopping Cart.

You can set a default for the site (in Design / Options / Shop Defaults) but each Section can override this if you choose other than Use Parent in Section Details / Layout / Shopping Mode.
