10% Discount with HSBC ePayments?

Is it possible to provide the '10% Discount on all Purchases' functionality on a site which uses HSBC secure-payments as the back end payment provider?

I can remember seeing 'Credit Card Transaction with Discount' in the payment options (which I then removed). Was this option the only way I do it?

This is not a standard option within Actinic so I don't know where you saw it. There should be no problems using HSBC and applying discounts in the store as it is the total amount that is passed over to HSBC (after discounts are taken off and VAT added on etc).

If you want to restrict a discount to a particular payment method, couldn't you just set up the 10% discount and use the Restrictions tab to restrict it to HSBC?
