Edit the "Accept Terms and Conditions" on Checkout

Hello All.

I have gone thru my store and using the templates manager have commented out the NETQUOTEVAR:INFOPANELS so that the Terms & Conditions information does not show at the bottom of the Checkout pages.

I still have the Accept Terms & Conditions check box and statement saying, accept these terms 'shown below' which is no longer below.

Is it possible to change this link so that it reads something like "I accept the terms shown here" and then have the link word "here" open up the file Act_Infopopup.html in a new window?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

You can change the link if you go to 'Design | Text'. Click on the 'Go To' button in the bottom left corner of the screen and type 2383 in the 'ID' field and click 'OK'. This will take you to the prompt that reads:

I accept the Terms and Conditions displayed %s

Change this to read:

Click <A HREF="javascript:ShowPopUp('infopopup.html',650,450);">here</A> to view the Terms and Conditions

Then delete the contents of the prompt below that reads 'below'.

Click OK and update your site.
