Have a client who has received and error stating:
"The order details sent by the Java applet or secure server do not match
the order details stored on the web site. Your order has not been placed.
If this problem persists, please use another payment method."
Looking in the AC error file there are lines that state:
"Program = ORDERSCR, Program version = 265 , HTTP Server = Apache/1.3.31 (Unix) mod_ssl/2, Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 24/11/2004 10:12:47, Internal Errors = <B>Warning:</B> Your shopping basket was not cleared (No such file or directory). If you return to the catalogue to place another order in the next hour, make sure you manually remove the old items from your shopping basket. This will not have any affect on your current order.<P>"
I can find nothing on the KB about this.
What causes this, and what preventive measures can I take?
Am I right in thinking that the client's cookie held old cart items which were no longer on the web -or vs vs? If so how do these get out of step?
