vat and shipping

Hi,
I have 2 forms of shipping on my site:
Courier which vat is added
Post Office which is exempt from vat.

I can only see the option to charge vat or not on shipping, is there a way of charging vat on one and not on the other?

Although the post office doesn't charge you VAT if you're shipping a product/service on which VAT is charged and you charge for shipping then I believe you have to charge VAT on the shipping.

This isn't to do with Actinic. It's the rules as set out by the Inland Revenue.
