Upgrade from V4 or V5 ?

After testing the V7 version I'm going to buy it
However I'd like to upgrade from V4. Apart from the old products drop-box system inherited from V3 that won't work anymore, is there anything that could prove a problem ?
Can I upgrade straight from V4 to V7 or should I first upgrade to V5, then upgrade from V5 to V7 ?

I found I couldn't import my snapshot from version 4 into 7 but our own version 5 upgrade went without hitch.
