    Free shipping based on quantity

    Hi,

We're currently working on a clients site where the client would like to offer free shipping if a customer orders 3 or more items.

I can't see of a way to do this. The only obvious way was to set the shipping mode to "Total quantity" and then enter a single digit value into the "Free over" box, but then actinic just changes the digit into a currency value.

Any ideas? Is this even possible? I would like to think it was as it seems like a very simple feature that would be oft-used.

    Thanks,
    Kev

    Hi there.

    Try this:

Set shipping to use 'Total Quantity' and add a shipping class to your selected zone. In the 'Quantity, Cost' table enter a 'Quantity' of '2' and the 'Price' which you would like to charge the customer. Now add another line to your table with a 'Quantity' of '3' and a 'Price' of '0.00' Next, select 'Take the highest value in the table' radio button.

    Upload and test.

    Hope this helps.
