Marketing message to be displayed in the Product Template

    Hello

I have been trying to make a few changes in the Act_ProductlineRight template which I am using for all my products but in vain, so I am now asking for some guidance as Actinic could become a nightmare when you want things your way.

What I want is to use the Marketing message option (available in the Business Settings menu) to put a message in the product template after the price.

    ie: £ 15.99
    Free UK Postage & Packing

I tried to include the Act_MarketText.html in the Act_Product template I am working on; I tried NETQUOTEVAR:TEXTSPLASH; and many other things but I have just ended up with the code on the page.

I would be grateful if you could help and let me know the best way to put a same message under the price of each product.

    Many thanks

    Malika Munro

If your code is showing on the page, are you enclosing it within:
    !!< your code >!!
so Actinic knows it is html or whatever code

See the user guide on creating CUSTOMVAR:

You will need to create a CUSTOMVAR:

      ADVANCED > CUSTOM PROPERTIES

      Create a property called MYMARKETINGTEXT

in your product template put CUSTOMVAR:MYMARKETINGTEXT

Set the text to display in the Product Properties dialog
      Owner of a broken heart

Customvars may have a problem due to a bug in V7.

if it's on all products, why not just enter the text in the template?

          Hello

Thanks a lot for your replies and help. As you said Mike, "why not just enter the text in the template", which I did and it's just PERFECT!!!! I don't know why I went about it the long way ...
Who said that Actinic was complicated???

          Thank you all
