    Changing root directory

    Hi,

Don't think this has been asked before...
We need to change the installed directory from c://..../Actinic v7/
    to c://.../Actinic ecommerce v7/
Of course, if you do this manually in windows, Actinic won't run because it can't find the databases.
Question: is there an easy wasy to tell Actinic where the database is, perhaps by editing a startup file of some sort. Or do I need to re-install each site?
    Kind regards,
    SAM WEREN

    Hi Sam,

The root directory is controlled by the registry entries within your operating system. Support does not recommend you changing the entries in the registry.

I would recommend you backup your site first (via snapshot), uninstall and reinstall in the folder you want. Then reimport the snapshot. Long winded but a lot safer
