    VAT and Dual Currency

    Hi,

I have recently changed our site to use advanced VAT. Because of the actinic rounding problem we are using custom VAT amounts on all our products. I noticed yesterday that now the dual currency (Euro) calculation no longer works properly, it is not calculating the vat amount in the dual currency simply adding it to the total.

I.e Product price is £100 with custom VAT £17.50. With an exchange rate of 1.45 I would expect a Euro price of 170.38 (117.5 * 1.45) but in fact the product shows 162.50 !!!

Anyone know a way around this?

    thanks

    Hi Steve

I have not seen a workaround for this, but i will ask the development team regarding this issue.

      Hi Steve

Just got back from Development, and i'm afraid this is a bug. I'm afraid there is no workaround to show the correct price on the second currency. Unless you don't use custom tax.

        Hi Nadeem,

Thanks for the reply. At least I know it wasn't me going mad

I've managed to get round the problem by switching off dual currency and modifying the 'three currencies' code from the Advanced guide.

        Thanks for your help
