Additional Forms & Form Fields

2 Questions re forms:

1) Adding additional forms. Can the existing script that powers the 'contact us' form be used or, is it preferrable to have a separate script. Have been looking at nms formmail but concerned in case this conflicts with or upsets the existing scripts - you will gather I know zilch [yet] about scripts.
Am wanting to add a 'subscribe to our newsletter' form plus add additional form fields to the existing 'contact us' form or, if this is not advisable, set up an additional form.

2) Adding additional form fields to the contact us form. This is more of a best practices question. Is this form best left alone and set up additional forms using nms formmail or if it can be tweaked which script processes the form.

Hi Sharon

I would recommend you adding an additional formmail script to your website, rather than change the actinic formmail. Some of the clients i have spoken to, do it this way.
