Price Search not returning some results

Dear All

When I run price based search on everything (ie i leave the keyword search field empty) and select £0.00 - £10.00 I get no results (even though products are priced in that band. This also occurs for a search on £100.01+.

Yet same search works for the other 'in-between' price ranges.

Just checked your site and done a price search 0.00 to 10.00 and got these results.

So for me it looks like it is working.

its a bug but there is a work around..

Just to wrap this up - Toby at support did some digging around and discovered its a bug...(see below) - quote - "It looks like this will be fixed in 7.0.4".

The workaround I found was that its ok to use duplicates but uncheck ''index product duplicates' in search settings.

This suits me anyway as i use duplicates extensively to carry non product info but not have them turn up in the search results.

Error when searching by price range.

*OS* Any

*Product* V7.0.1 EGSA and 7.0.2 ELCA

*Problem*
Scripts report 'Web site is probably being updated' when searching only by
price range.

*Details*
With default DB, delete all sections and products except the magazine
subscription and it's duplicate.
Upload the site.
Search for price range 0-10 do not enter any search text.
The error 'Web site is probably being updated' is reported.
Search for a different price range or include the text 'Magazine' and the
search result is as expected.
Delete the duplicate, upload the site and repeat the tests. The magazine
is found.
