quantity of items

Has anyone seen this error message - "quantity of items must be between 1 and 3252" this happens when placing an order, all goes well until the checkout, then everything vanishes from the basket.

Hi Jo,

What version are you running, i remember this error message in an old version 6, where this message appears if you set the bounce delay to 0 in "Design | Options | Shop Defaults". You had to change the value to 1 or higher to get rid of this error message.

Empty basket at checkout problems.

Thanks for the response. Jo posted the original query on my behalf.
version is ecommerce 6.1.5.0.0.EGRA. The bounce is set to 5 - always has been, as far as I know.

To expand on the problem...
Basket fills ok, but when checkout is attempted, the basket is empty. When a return to the store is done, the basket is shown to have the original items in (ie, re-filled itself). If you "view basket", this message appears " "Your shopping cart is empty. Quantity must be a whole between 1 and 32767" This appears, along with product details and the (blank) quantity field in red.
