Porting a site to another machine

Hi,

What is the best way to move a site from the developer's machine to the client's machine?

Is it simply a case of 'copy & paste' or is it better to restore from a backup? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

Hello

The best way to to move the site from one machine to another is to create a snapshot (File | Snapshot | Export Site) on the developer machine.

Then on the clients machine, import the snapshot (File | Snapshot | Import Site), then you can refresh the site from their machine (Web | Refresh website), then that should be it.
