Export feed containing \n\n and \n\n!!

Hi

I use the export feed from Actinic, make some changes, and then load onto a number of Market Places. However, as part of the export, the product description contains \n\n and \n\n!!.

Question. What do these relate to (I image paragraph returns(?)) and is their any way of automatically removing them. I edit in Excel, but frequently it says 'Formular to long' so I have to manually edit the to long ones.

\n are new lines, or where a new line proberbly was.

If you want to remove them you could just use "Find and Replace" in the Edit menu. search for "\n" and replace it with ""

But that does not always work since when editing in excel using Find and Replace it says 'Formular to long', at which point I then have to manually make the edits.

Hi there

The export file is a csv file, so you should be able to open it in notepad. I would suggest in opening it in notepad, then do a find/replace as Classix mentioned.
