    Upload error 500

    HI,

    The server is LINUX.
    ALL permissions have been opened to 777.
    Nothing has changed on the server.
    The network settings are, indeed correct regarding paths, etc. I've configured many Actinic programs that would work. This one does not and is on the same server as the working programs.

    During an upload, I get
    "A server error occurred while attempting to merge server files. 500 - Internal Server Error"

    At the final Mergining incremental updates at the website (after Sending catalog files).

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there

    You error suggests there might be an issue with the .cat files on your server. Possibly the permission has been reset for these files.

    You have two choices:

    1. FTP to your site, go into the /acatalog/ folder and check the permission for your .cat files and .fil files only. It possible you may find that these permission has been reset to 200

    2. If the above fail, then ftp to your site and deleting all .cat and .fils in your /acatalog/ folder. Also do the same in your site1 folder and then go to "Web | Refresh website" in Actinic. So actinic regenerates all the catalog files.
