Simple Shipping

Hi All

In trying to convert my store to a flat rate shipping charge of £2.95 I have entered £2.51 as the net charge in the simple shipping table.

I'll have to create some text so people know this will be £2.95 including VAT to comply with VAT rules (otherwise Actinic just adds VAT on top or I have to make it VAT exempt).

When I apply this and close, whenever I go back into it the simple shipping has defaulted to £2.50 (giving a final VAT inclusive charge of £2.94). I thought you could put whatever figure you wanted in here so why does it keep changing it?

Seem to have spent all day trawling the archives!

don't know if the link will work - apparently it's a bug, apparently it's been reported and obviously it's not fixed yet.

The workaround seems to have cured it, but what a time waster trying to find the answer to a very old (and known about) problem.

Thanks to anyone who gave it any thought.
