Free gift?

Hi all,

What we are looking to do is give our customers a free gift if they spend £45 or more on our site. It will just be a single gift that we choose but it will need to display in the cart and in the downloaded order for our packing department.

Is this possible and how can we set it up?

Hi there

Just been having a think about this, when trying to do a discount, actinic discount does not link to a hidden product, so what you would need to do is,
create a section called Free Gift, and have one product called Free Gift.
Now you would need to customise the Act_Sectionline.html for the free gift section to just have "NETQUOTEVAR:NEXT". This way it cannot be seen visible on the site (expect for sitemap).

This is the only way i could think of achieving what you want.
