Hi,
Does Actinic use a MS Access database? Can it use or would it make a difference to use a MSSQL DB?

Actinic uses an Access database on the owners PC to hold the catalog details. This is built-in to the app and isn't changable.
It uses no database on the server (there are a few data files but these are read by Actinics Perl scripts).

I see, thanks for clarifying. I am new to concept of having to download orders as all of the shopping cart systems I have used are web based so I assumed the database was also on the web.
