I sell business to consumer, and cannot think of any advantage to the customer to login. They can bring up their address details if they opted to save them previously, and they can bring up a previously saved order, without having to register or login. If anybody can think of an advantage to registering or logging in I would be grateful to hear. Otherwise, what is the best way to remove the login button?

I require users to login to display specific pricing. Some customers pay more for our product than others.

    To remove the login requirement

Business Setting | Ordering and deselect "Request Login on Shop Entry"

      Doesn't remove button

Hi Deerhunter and thank you. My customers will all be paying the same unless they give a promotion code on ordering, for which they do not need to register. I had already deselected Request Login on Shop Entry. I would like to be able to remove the Login Button. Customers will try to login even though they are not required to do so. They cannot register themselves, so they will either quit the site or contact me to complain about not being able to register. With my present non-Actinic site, the login button is a pain, but they are able to register themselves, and it saves them typing their address details each time they order, nothing more. Though I stress that they do not need to register or login, many still think they have to because the button is there.

        Hi Sarah,

To remove the login button, simply go to "Design | Options | Navigation" and here remove all reference to login, (eg text and image). This should remove the reference of login in the navigation bar.

        Kind Regards
