Customer selected shipping dates

Hi, I was wondering whether anyone has developed/seen an add-in programme that enables customers to select a specific date from a calendar for the arrival of their goods?

I have only seen one reference to it in the forums, and it did not seem to have been solved. After checking out numerous Actinic sites, I have not found one that enables the customers to choose the shipping dates.
I apologise if this is posted in the wrong forum etc. Can anyone offer help/assistance or a quote?-
