report problem - not showing figures pre September

    Hello,

My client is experiencing a problem when running reports, all he has told me is:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem is simply this; if you go to reports, select sales and then
enter a date range. All the orders are recorded from the start date back in April 2004, but if I ask it to report July's figures it comes back blank though after September it reports the sales for the date range you set.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've not got a clue as to why it is not showing the figures pre to september as i've never played with the reports stuff.

Any ideas and help would be truly grateful

    Kind regards

The sales report requires orders to be in a certain state, so maybe the orders in July are not in that state, the user sets the state by clicking on the 'more options' button in the report selection dialog. The easiest way to tell might be to get the customer to send you a snapshot and then take a look at the data yourself.
