big problem has developed uploading?

something major has happend to my upload it just freezes when i try to upload either way, also the import backup file has developed an error

Because of the problem i have had all afternoon, i have now re-installed actinic but alas still the freezing problem, could this be a space problem/

must have some dodgy file somewhere i need to find.

I PING ed your webserver 3 times with 4 data packages and only got a 50% success rate so I would leave the dodgy file idea and talk to your Host to see if they can shed any light on it.

ok, i think maybe i have found the problem, my external drive seems to be mis-functioning and i have a lot of my images on it and when uploading as soon as it came across the images it not want to know.
It also made PC run like a snail, now disconnected seems fine again.
Now try another upload and see, fingers crossed.
