Link options

There are three options for linking to files in Product | Link | Advanced Link. Does it matter which one I use from a performance stand point.

Will the download times be similar for all three options: URL, Product, Section. Do they all ultimately do the same thing, i.e. link to some URL

Link to a product or section will have to go via the cgi-bin and actinic perl scripts, so the delay will be dependant on the hosting server, but will not be anything major.

By doing a URL, a relative one is quickest out of the 2 options, i.e.

mypage.html which resides within the acatalog as the URL is quickest, whereas http://www.mydomain.tld/acatalog/mypage.html is slower, not by anything you can notice thou
