this site loses its images and style sheet when you reach the checkout stage of a purchase. Site uses SSL.

Looks to me as if the checkout isn't using SSL. When I looked the first checkout page had no images but definitely wasn't on https.

I'd suggest you get that working and then see if there's still a problem with images.

SSL cert wasn't installed properly. This was the cause of the problem.
