similar/alternative products listing

Not sure if this has been covered before, but is it possible to have alternative products listed on a product information details page?

The idea being to show them other products in the range on the same page without having to hit the back button.

Would want it to show a small thumbnail, product name (as link) and price for each alternative product.

If anyone knows the code that would need to be in the template that'd be great!

Just installed Norman's upsell patch - very clear instuctions and very easy to do. It does exactly what you are asking for!
