Vouchers for use by certain customers?

Hi,
Is it possible to create a voucher say 10% off cart total, for use by selected customers by e-mail address? Is this only possible by putting these customers in a group? I want to allow these customers to use this voucher only once.

Yes i am afraid so, if you just want certain customer to use the coupon code.
Remember a coupon code is just a code to activate a discount, it is not a form of payment which a voucher is.
