    images in product line...

I'm going to run a BOGOF scheme on a selction of products and would like to insert a graphic at the begining of the product description to indicate which products apply.

My product database is in the form of an excel spreadsheet which i save as a Tab delimited txt doc and then import the flat file into actinic. Is it a matter of adding a column in the excel file for the images?

    Thanks in advance.

Something like this would do it.

Make a new column in Excel that you tick to mark these special products. Then make a new description column using a formula that copies in the normal description but prefixes it with

    !!<<img src="bogoff.gif" width=50 height=30>>!!

You will also need to upload bogoff.gif via Advanced / Additional Files.

seems logical enough just have to put my excel learning hat on now and figure out how to get a tick box in and sort the formula..

Or just use a general cell that is normally empty but has something in it for your bogoff items. I use an ancient version of Excel so am only guessing about it's current capabilities.
