Copying products problems

Hi

I am running V7.02 and when I copy either a single product of a section Actinic locks up and can several minutes to copy the item.

has anyone any ideas why this happens? I've searched the forum but could find nothing on this subject.

Do you have a lot of products in your catalog?

One thing that would be worth trying is compacting your catalog database, you do this by going to Housekeeping | Compact database, and check the catalog box...
