      Hi there

With this error, it seems the .fil files on your server permission have reset. I would suggest, if you have got an ftp software (like CuteFTP or WS_FTP) to connect to the site and go into the /acatalog/ folder. Here simply set all the files here with a permission of 777 if you are using a UNIX server.

If you have an WINDOWS server, then check the permission are set to:
      READ
      WRITE
      READ AND EXECUTE
      MODIFIY

If you don't have an FTP software, then you could just simply contact your hosting company and get them to change the permission for you. After doing this, you should be able to upload.

      Kind Regards

Hi Nademm - I just cleared everything out and started over but with the same database - seemed to work. I think the problem occured when cancelled an refresh - the software really doesn't like this! I think if there is no safe gaurds then the cancel button should be removed as it causes problems.

ditto! Just hit the upload button in error and then cancel... thereby making it impossible to merge the updates on the next upload - may be a "are you sure" step could be introduced after hitting the upload button as the cancel seems to kill sensitive files.

it's a good idea to have an "are you sure" on anything that can break your site - like cancel - upload - refresh already has one... but where do you stop?

Adding too many "are you sure" confirmations will definitely harm the usability of the software - and that's been harmed already by the organic growth of the application over time... it's a tough call...

It would also stop many automation scripts from uploading until they get amended to cope with the extra click...
